Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Selector to join our distribution team in BLOOMINGDALE, GA. The role involves selecting, staging, shipping, and receiving product while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

You will operate material handling equipment, load/unload freight, and help with inventory counts. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with some pallet jack experience and a certification possibility on our equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of electric pallet jack operation experience preferred.
• Must be able to get NFI certified on electric pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Basic math and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following safety procedures.
• Completes pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Loads and unloads freight in a safe, efficient manner.
• Moves product to storage areas using equipment and stacks merchandise.
• Picks customer orders and prepares for shipment.
• Processes orders including picking, checking, sorting, packing, and shipment confirmations.
• Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation.
• Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Performs sanitation duties as assigned.
