JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Specialist to execute daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced freight forwarding and logistics environment.

You will accurately receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch cargo for domestic and international freight, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. Responsibilities include labeling, scanning, inventory visibility, safety inspections, and supporting cross‑functional teams to meet service

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, freight handling, and cargo staging processes.
• Working knowledge of air and ocean freight documentation and handling practices a plus.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with scanning devices, warehouse systems, and Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow SOPs with minimal supervision.
• Dependable and punctual, with flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts based on operational needs.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a deadline‑driven, high‑volume logistics environment.
• Commitment to always maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsabilités

• Process inbound and outbound shipments in compliance with customer SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Load, unload, sort, and stage cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE (material handling equipment).
• Verify shipment accuracy against documentation (BOLs, packing lists, etc.); identify and report discrepancies.
• Apply labeling, scanning, and documentation procedures to support inventory accuracy and visibility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
• Follow all warehouse security protocols and ensure freight integrity during handling and storage.
• Conduct routine safety inspections on equipment and perform minor preventive maintenance as needed.
• Assist in physical inventory counts and cycle counts to support warehouse accuracy targets.
• Coordinate with customer service, transportation, and import/export teams to meet cutoffs and service commitments.
• Participate in special projects and cross‑training opportunities as assigned.
