Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Chattanooga, TN. You will pick and pack orders, print labels, and inspect products using standard equipment to prepare shipments for customers. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and readiness for regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type of product.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate forklift or order picker for picking orders (where required).
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specs.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate and report incidents.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
