Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Chattanooga, TN to pick and pack orders, print labels, and inspect products for accuracy. You will use equipment to prepare shipments and support receiving demands, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include selecting correct items, measuring and counting, packing for various carriers, and documenting order information. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to SOPs in a dynamic warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders, ensuring correct item type and quantity for shipment.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate forklift or order picker as needed.
• Pack orders for parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Affix shipping and tracking labels; mark and label per DOT/IATA/IMDG regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products for packing specs per SOP.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure the facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate and report incidents; may perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
