Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Houston seeks a Warehouse Associate to barcode and process new boxes, pull access lists, and refile boxes. You will handle destruction-box processing, bay consolidations, and daily equipment checks, including forklifts, battery, and brakes.

Responsibilities include loading and moving boxes, making pickups/deliveries, equipment maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations. No relocation; overtime may be required; high school diploma and valid license required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and clean background check.
• High School Diploma minimum.
• Physically able to lift 40-50 lb boxes daily.
• Detail oriented and able to work under time constraints.
• Willing to operate equipment safely and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Barcode and process new boxes.
• Pull access list and refile boxes.
• Barcode and process boxes scheduled for destruction.
• Perform bay consolidations.
• Operate a picker forklift or other equipment.
• Conduct safety checks before using equipment and daily charging.
• Move boxes to assigned areas, load and unload as needed.
• Warehouse maintenance and routine vehicle-related tasks.
• Make pickups and deliveries.
• Perform ongoing equipment maintenance.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
