Job summary

Motion Industries in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle shipping and receiving for the branch. You will ensure correct items are picked, packed and delivered in a timely manner, and that inventory is accurately recorded.

Under supervision, you may operate a forklift, process customer orders and returns, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse. A high school diploma or GED and basic math/computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Determine which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales orders.
• Pull orders and recheck for accuracy.
• Prepare items for delivery to customers and secure packages for shipment.
• Process customer returns for shipment back to the Distribution/Fulfillment center or supplier.
• Maintain organized racks, shelves or bins per MINO code organization.
• Report damaged inventory to warehouse supervisor.
• Operate a forklift or similar equipment when required.
• Receive items in the computer system to show availability for customers.
