Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring an Estimator II to produce timely and precise estimates for reconditioning services on consigned vehicles for wholesale and retail clients. You’ll assess damage, document repairs, and seek client approval, using Manheim’s proprietary tools to ensure consistency.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various teams, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A pre-employment drug test is required and safety practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage details.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimation services for an assigned auction area.
• Create accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicate estimates to maintenance and other teams to initiate work.
• Collaborate with procurement/purchasing to price parts and supplies.
• Monitor repair status, timelines and customer communications.
• Keep records of repair/reconditioning details and paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety activities.
