Job summary

Cox Automotive, a leader in vehicle services, is hiring an Estimator II at Manheim. You will provide estimation services for an assigned auction area and deliver accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic services.

This on-site role requires collaboration with maintenance teams and timely communication of estimates. You will work with procurement to price parts, monitor repair status, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience; or any degree/certification beyond high school with 1 year of experience; or 5 years of related field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail, and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning, and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation, and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair/reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors.
• Actively participates in and supports all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence
