Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, seeks an Estimator II to deliver timely, accurate reconditioning estimates for consignments across wholesale and retail channels. You will assess damage, document repairs, and seek client approval using Manheim's proprietary estimating tools.

Coordinate with maintenance, reconditioning and purchasing teams to price parts, track progress and maintain records, while prioritizing safety and clear client communications throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 3 years of related field experience; or a degree with 1 year; or 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive various vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair/reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.

At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we're hiring an Estimator II. Join a dynamic team where accuracy and efficiency drive client satisfaction. As an Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing timely and precise estimates for reconditioning services on consigned vehicles for both wholesale and retail clients. You'll assess vehicle damage, document recommended repairs, and collaborate with clients for approval. Estimates will be created using Manheim's proprietary tools to ensure consistency and quality.

What You'll Do

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.

Minimum

USD 18.17 - 27.31 per hour

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

• Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
• Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
