Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. in Canastota, NY is seeking a Polisher to perform polishing, deburring, and belt grinding on turbomachinery components. This is a full-time role based in our Canastota facility with 40+ hours per week.

You will operate belt grinders, shot peen and a glass bead cabinet, perform quality inspections, and prepare parts for shipment. Required are a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to read and follow procedures.

Qualifications

• Polishing experience with turbomachinery preferred.
• Ability to operate belt grinders and related equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate belt grinder, shot peen and glass bead cabinet.
• Perform polishing and visual quality inspections per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Prepare parts for shipment by cleaning, labeling and packing.
• Follow directions from Polish Lead and Supervisor.
