Zeus Industrial Products. Chattanooga facility seeks a Tie Layer Operator to support manufacturing and coating operations on tubing. You will set up and monitor equipment, apply tie layer coating, and feed tubing through processing lines to ensure consistent product quality.

Responsibilities include visual and dimensional checks, meticulous documentation, and adherence to safety rules. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adapt to different situations.
• Ability to read job instructions.
• Repetitive overhead lifting of lightweight tubing.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform inspection functions such as visual inspection for defects and color differentiation.
• Standing, stooping or sitting for sustained periods.

Responsabilités

• Set up and monitor machines & equipment.
• Apply tie layer coating to tubing.
• Place tubing in equipment.
• Check tubing visually and dimensionally.
• Document process information on prescribed worksheets.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and observe safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
