Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Fab Mechanic - Trim Cut to join our manufacturing team. The role involves fabricating metal tubing, performing precision cuts, deburring, polishing, and testing to meet specifications for hydraulic, pneumatic, waste, and exhaust systems.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and maintaining fixtures while ensuring on-time, safe completion of tasks with attention to quality and process guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details and finished products.
• Inspects and tests components and tubes to validate conformance to blueprints and customer instructions.
• Maintains accurate mylar fixtures and prepares assemblies to cosmetic and dimensional standards.
• Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, salvages parts from assemblies and repairs tube assemblies and fixtures.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, process sheets and procedures to manufacture rigid and flexible metal tubes.
