Cleaver-Brooks Sales & Service in Dallas, TX is seeking a tube bending and TIG welding technician. You will review drawings, set up tube/pipe bending equipment, fabricate from instructions with minimal supervision, and ensure parts meet exact specifications.

You will inspect using the proper gauges, tag non-conforming parts, participate in first-article runs, and coordinate with other departments to keep production moving while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and documenting work accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar industrial/technical role.
• TIG welding experience.
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D from drawings and work to precise standards.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel; basic HVAC terminology is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Set up, adjust, and operate tube/pipe bending equipment to meet exact specifications.
• Fabricate from drawings, samples, and instructions with minimal supervision.
• Select and use layouts, templates, check fixtures, dies, and gauges.
• Develop layouts from provided documentation and verify conformance with inspection tools.
• Inspect parts from bending operations to ensure they meet requirements.
• Take part in first-article runs and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments to keep work moving and tag non-conforming parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and complete required documentation on time.
