Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service in Dallas, TX is seeking a Tube Bender/Welder to join our team. The role involves bending structural metal pipe, tube, and bar to specs and welding as required, with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity.

Essential duties include setting up bending machinery, fabricating from drawings, checking parts against drawings, performing first article runs, and handling related paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar industrial/technical position.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel; HVAC terminology is a plus.
• Must be able to work with others and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate tube bending machinery to bend metal to specifications.
• Fabricate directly from drawings or instructions without supervision.
• Select layouts, templates, or check fixtures and develop layouts from drawings.
• Check bent parts to drawings and tolerance with proper measurement equipment.
• Inspect end product for accuracy and maintain tube bending equipment.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Operate hoist, forklift equipment, and pallet jack as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
