Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Precision Tube Bending and TIG Welding Fabricator in Dallas, TX. You’ll review drawings, set up the tube bender, and run first articles while maintaining tolerances with precision measuring tools.

You will coordinate with other departments, tag non-conforming parts, and keep the workspace safe and organized, completing all paperwork daily.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in an industrial/technical role.
• TIG welding experience and ability to read drawings.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel; HVAC terminology is a plus.

Precision Tube Bending and TIG Welding Fabricator - Dallas, TX

Step into a day where craftsmanship meets precision. You clock in at our Dallas facility, review drawings and job scopes, choose the right dies and gauges, and set up the tube bender for a first-article run. You verify tolerances with the proper measuring tools, adjust for accuracy, and move seamlessly into TIG welding. Between runs, you coordinate with other departments, tag any non-conforming parts, and keep your work area spotless and safe. By day's end, paperwork is complete, materials are staged, and the next job is already coming into focus.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, adjust, and operate tube/pipe bending equipment to meet exact specifications.
• Fabricate from drawings, samples, and instructions with minimal supervision.
• Select and use layouts, templates, check fixtures, tools, dies, and plane gauges.
• Develop layouts from provided documentation and verify part conformance with the correct measuring and inspection equipment.
• Inspect parts from the bending operation and ensure the end product meets all requirements.
• Identify, properly tag, and remove non-conforming materials.
• Perform first-article runs and share recommendations for improvement.
• Operate hoists, cart caddies, forklifts, and manual pallet jacks safely.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to keep work moving.
• Maintain an orderly, clean workspace and follow all prescribed safety regulations.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Take on additional duties or special projects as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar industrial/technical role.
• Proven ability to work to precise standards, make decisions using measurable criteria, and visualize parts in 3D from drawings.
• TIG welding experience.
• Computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel; basic HVAC industry terminology is a plus.
• Team-oriented mindset, solid communication and writing skills, and an understanding of maintenance and interpreting job scopes.

Physical Demands

Comfort working skillfully with hands; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; adequate vision (with correction if needed); capability to climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds; ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch as work requires.

Working Conditions & Safety

Knowledge of industrial and commercial safety practices including General Basic Plus Safety, LOTO, working overhead, confined space entry, and basic electrical safety.
