Qualifications
- Proven experience rebuilding automatic and/or manual transmissions.
- Knowledge of transmission components, hydraulics, and valve bodies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions.
- Diagnose internal transmission failures and identify worn or damaged components.
- Replace clutch packs, seals, gaskets, bearings, and other internal parts.
- Perform precise measurements and clearance checks during reassembly.
- Ensure all rebuilt units meet quality and performance standards before delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Document rebuild processes and parts used for each unit.
