Job description

We are looking for a motivated Transmission Rebuilder Apprentice to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long‑term career in the transmission remanufacturing industry. You will work alongside experienced professionals and learn the hands‑on skills needed to inspect, disassemble, clean, rebuild, and reassemble transmissions and related components.

The right candidate should be dependable, eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a shop environment. Automotive experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are most important.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in disassembling, cleaning, and rebuilding transmissions
  • Learn proper inspection and measuring techniques for parts and components
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow shop procedures and quality standards (ISO 9001 compliant)
  • Support senior rebuilders and technicians with daily tasks
  • Handle tools, parts, and equipment carefully and responsibly
