Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble transmissions and subassemblies using fixtures, presses, and hand tools.
• Set up and use torque wrenches and verify torque values and sequence.
• Install seals, gaskets, and retaining hardware per instructions.
• Measure critical characteristics with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results for traceability.
• Maintain 5S and support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
