Job summary

Twin Disc in Racine, WI is hiring for 1st shift CNC machinists. Starting pay ranges from $27.29/hr to $39.48/hr with a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday.

The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and delivering high-quality parts as part of a team. You’ll learn full-scope CNC machining, setup processes, and precise measurement techniques, with benefits including 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and full medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years CNC machining experience (lathes, mills, drilling, grinding).
• Setup experience is desirable.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.)
• Read blueprints and perform precision measurements
• Use gauges and inspection tools
• Produce high-quality parts in a team environment

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years of CNC machining experience (lathes, mills, drilling, grinding)
• Setup experience (desired)
• Mechanical/technical experience and willingness to learn
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• We’ll train, if you’re willing to learn

What You Will Learn

• Full-scope CNC machining (lathes, milling, drilling, gear work)
