Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn helpful.
• Introductory knowledge of machining tools/processes is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, mills, and grinders under supervision to produce precise parts.
• Develop the ability to interpret prints and technical specifications.
• Support experienced machinists with troubleshooting and quality checks.
• Maintain a tidy, safe work area aligned with shop procedures.
• Participate in workshops and training to expand capabilities.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on shop equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and meet schedules.
