Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining training preferred.
• Experience as machinist or tool & die maker in a repair or production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools accurately.
• Strong mechanical skills, problem-solving ability, and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, repair, and set up tooling for weld mill equipment.
• Operate lathes, grinders, polishers, and other metal-forming equipment.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other tools to verify tight tolerances.
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintain accurate tooling inventory.
• Safely move tooling (up to 400 lbs) using tow motors and cranes.
• Read blueprints and apply machining knowledge to meet exact specs.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet tooling needs and resolve issues.
