Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lays out, positions, aligns, and secures parts prior to assembly using measuring tools.
• Examines work pieces for defects and verifies conformance to specifications.
• Operates fabricating machines (brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, drill presses) to form components.
• May weld parts to form complete units per blueprints and layout specifications.
• Maintains clean work area and follows safety procedures.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervision.
