Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a Tool Room Machinist for our micro-miniature stamping facility in the the Northeast US. You will build, maintain, and repair stamping dies and tooling from blueprints and engineering specs, using manual and CNC equipment to produce tight-tolerance components.

You will work closely with tool designers, press technicians, and production to keep tooling accurate, available, and running, while maintaining records and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tool room, tool & die, or precision machining experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, tooling drawings, and GD&T.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Machine precision tooling components and die details to tight tolerances using manual and CNC equipment.
• Assemble, fit, and test stamping dies and tooling, and make adjustments to achieve correct part dimensions, form, and function.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild dies and tooling to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Keep accurate records of tooling work and follow safety procedures.
