Job summary

Norwood Medical in Dayton, OH is seeking a CNC Operator 1 to manufacture precision medical components and contribute to production with safe, high-quality machining.

Learn on advanced equipment, work with experienced team members, and grow within medical device manufacturing while supporting daily production goals and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Eight consecutive months in previous employment; CNC experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and conduct business in English.
• Willingness to work overtime and learn processes in multiple areas.
• Ability to adapt to a temperature-variable manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read, follow and complete router instructions and perform work as directed by a Group Leader.
• Operate one or more types of CNC production equipment.
• Set machine offsets and adjustments as needed.
• Change tools as required.
• Execute inspection plans and document results.
• Detect and report defective material or conditions to a Group Leader.
• Maintain production goals on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with team and communicate work-related issues.
