Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 years of relevant training or experience preferred, or a comparable mix.
• TMA certification or equivalent is highly valued.
• Background in stamping, tool and die maintenance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain progressive dies to exact specs.
• Adjust tooling for customer changes and production shifts.
• Sharpen and repair dies to ensure peak performance.
• Identify and resolve press and die malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Execute changeovers for various tooling configurations.
• Analyze blueprints and CAD files to guide work.
• Machine die components to support production needs.
• Operate tool room machinery safely (drills, lathes, grinders, mills).
• Assemble and fit tools and dies for smooth operation.
• Inspect tools and dies for defects and measurement accuracy.
