HX5, LLC in Brook Park, OH, is seeking a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker to provide precision machining and assembly using CNC and manual equipment for NASA Glenn Research Center.

Responsibilities include close-tolerance part fabrication, fixture and tooling design, and collaboration with engineers on machinability. Requires vocational training or associate degree and 4+ years experience; citizenship and background check required.

Qualifications

• Vocational or associate training in manufacturing or precision machining.
• 4+ years of experience in tool and die making or equivalent.
• Proficient in precision measurement and tolerances to +/- .001 inch.

Responsibilities

• Produce close tolerance parts using CNC and manual equipment.
• Design and modify fixtures and tooling for accuracy.
• Provide guidance to engineers on machinability and process improvements.
