Job summary

Tool & Die Maker role in a manufacturing environment requiring expertise with carbide dies, precise measurement, and reading technical drawings. You will manufacture, assemble, and repair tooling to support production, while maintaining organized tooling inventory and adhering to safety standards.

The candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude, 3+ years experience, and ability to read drawings and use precision instruments. High school diploma required; trade training a plus.

Qualifications

• Trade school or technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and alter carbide dies according to drawings and specifications.
• Assemble carbide dies into die casings using a hydraulic press.
• Complete tooling projects accurately and efficiently to support scheduled production runs.
• Modify and repair punches, sleeves, pins, and general machine parts.
• Troubleshoot production and tooling issues with management.
• Maintain inventory of tooling materials and supplies.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment safely.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
