Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Level 2 TIG Welder for a 2nd shift role in Phoenix, AZ. You will weld precision components, read blueprints and routers, and inspect finished parts to meet strict customer specifications.

The position requires strong TIG welding skills, attention to detail, and safe, efficient operation on a 2nd shift schedule. Lifting up to 50 pounds and forklift use are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in welding or fabrication preferred.
• 25+ years of demonstrated experience as a Level 2 welder or similar TIG welding role.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, routers, and blueprints in English.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal parts using TIG and arc welding with emphasis on TIG welding.
• Prepare and finish welded components via cutting, grinding, and inspection.
• Read blueprints and routers to determine dimensions and welding requirements.
