Chromalloy Corp. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform precision welding operations using manual TIG, CNC TIG, and Electron Beam (EB) welding equipment to produce parts that meet stringent quality and production requirements.

You should be detail-oriented, able to read prints and blueprints, and committed to producing high-quality work. The role requires reliable attendance and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• WD-001 certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to pass a reading test.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Knowledge of welding processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weld joints according to traveler instructions.
• Perform welding using manual TIG, CNC TIG, and/or EB welding equipment.
• Complete welding operations on a variety of components.
• Prepare parts using belt sanding and other finishing methods.
• Inspect tools and equipment before use.
• Complete required traveler and production documentation.
• Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment as required.
• Maintain production, quality, and safety standards.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company quality, safety, and ethical standards.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Help with other shop duties as needed.
