Job summary

ASC, a division of Lift Solutions, seeks a Welder to join the Rigging team in East Hazel Crest, IL. The Welder will read prints, set up welding equipment, and maintain tolerances to ensure quality production.

Requirements include TIG welding experience and general fabrication skills, plus the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team, with strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in TIG and general fabrication skills, required.
• Must be able to operate welding tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manufacturing prints to determine correct fit and tolerances.
• Understand welding machine operation and fitter/welding burning equipment.
• Perform all functions associated with welding preparation and welding.
• Conduct appropriate quality checks of equipment.
• Determine correct machine settings and tolerances.
• Monitors work environment for hazards and maintains healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation.
