ASC, a division of Lift Solutions, is seeking a Welder to join our Rigging team in East Hazel Crest, IL. The Welder will read prints, set weld parameters, and maintain production rates while ensuring quality.

Candidates should have TIG welding experience, general fabrication skills, and the ability to work independently in a production setting while communicating effectively with teammates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manufacturing prints to determine correct fit and tolerances.
• Understand welding machine operation and fitter/welding burning equipment.
• Perform all functions associated with welding preparation and welding.
• Conduct appropriate quality checks of equipment.
• Determine correct machine settings and tolerances.
• Monitors work environment for hazards and maintains healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation.

We are currently seeking a Welder to join our Rigging team at ASC in East Hazel Crest, IL.

Position Summary

The Welder must be able to use welding equipment, instruments and stay within specified tolerances. They must have the ability to maintain production rates and manufacture prints.

Duties & Responsibilities

Read and interpret manufacturing prints to determine correct fit and tolerances.

Understand welding machine operation and fitter/welding burning equipment.

Perform all functions associated with welding preparation and welding.
