Job summary

TSMC Washington is seeking a qualified technician to work on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment at our Camas, Washington site. You will collaborate with Equipment Engineers, Technicians, and vendors to improve tool performance and maintenance, ensuring accurate logs and timely status updates.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors, Equipment Engineers, Equipment Technicians and tool owners to improve area/tool performance.
• Perform basic tool maintenance and repairs per operating instructions.
• Provide accurate logs, repair data, and tool status at shift pass down.
• Certify tools.
• Support the Thin Film - PVD area with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
