Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Tulsa is seeking a level one Thermal Spray Operator to interpret work instructions, perform basic thermal spray tasks, and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers under supervision.

You will set up equipment, select gas mix, flame and powder according to recipes, mask parts, and maintain safe, organized work areas while adhering to PPE requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 YOE in thermal spray or related field.
• General English reading/writing required.
• Experience with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Receive work instructions and ensure parts are masked.
• Pull tooling and materials for application.
• Set up equipment, tooling and materials with minimal supervision.
• Set parameters/pressures for the spray equipment; input instructions.
• Apply thermal spray coating and ensure quality across parts.
• Complete work instruction sheets to record work performed.
