Progressive Surface, Inc. is seeking a Thermal Spray Operator to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including thermal spray, grit blasting, waterjet, abrasive waterjet and shot peening machinery.

The role emphasizes safety and production standards while contributing to high-quality parts. You will set up and change over equipment, follow detailed work instructions, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to learn multiple processes and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal spray, and grit blasting equipment and at times waterjet, abrasive waterjet and shot peening machinery.
• Assist with set ups and changing over equipment.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with material handling and other production-related duties as assigned.
