Novanta is seeking a Test Technician I in Bedford, MA to support the Final Test & Sets production line. You will operate linearly test fixtures, perform inspections, and ensure products meet high quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• 0–2 years in manufacturing or electronics technician role.
• Able to read and follow work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
• Strong multitasking and willingness to learn testing requirements.
• Team player with good written and verbal communication.
• Experience with ESD and 5S principles.
• Safety and chemical awareness.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Oracle).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience safely using hand tools.

Aufgaben

• Supports completion of order test fulfillment and daily production scheduling as established by supervisor.
• Performs inspections of products and properly identify non-conformances.
• Completes tuning/calibration of systems to customer specifications.
• Operates test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM) properly.
• Escapes potential issues identified in the assembly process to Principal Technician/Manufacturing Engineer.
• Detects and diagnoses basic malfunctions of galvos and servos.
• Packages systems including printing labels and packaging.
• Collaborates with team to implement process improvements.
• Supports 5S initiatives and cleanliness of workstations.
• Interprets test results/plots and basic failure modes.
• Follows site requirements for disposal of recyclable materials and hazardous waste.
