Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma with 5 years of related experience, or an Associate degree in electrical/mechanical engineering in lieu of experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with 5 years of related electrical/mechanical experience.
• An Associate degree in electrical/mechanical engineering can substitute for some experience.
• Ability to follow schematics, pneumatic, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems in repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot advanced mechanical and electronic test equipment.
• Tackle complex troubleshooting, testing, and repairs; coordinate with the supervisor to resolve issues.
• Respond to customer calls and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Repair or adjust mechanical parts including doors and hydraulic brakes; perform tests and calibrations.
• Document test results and maintain clean, organized testing areas.
• Understand electrical principles; use testing instruments and LabVIEW or similar tools.
