Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Assembler II for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate hand and power tools, use a tape measure, and apply torque to assemble fabricated metal tanks according to quality standards.

Reporting to the Finish Supervisor, you read blueprints to install, align, and secure components. You will perform visual inspections, address defects, and document production details while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
• Operates hand and power tools to assemble fabricated metal tanks to specification.
• Performs visual inspections to ensure quality and address defects.

Responsibilities

• Operates and uses hand tools, power tools, tape measure, and torque to assemble tanks accurately.
• Reads blueprints and aligns components per quality standards.
• Collaborates with peers and verifies instructions to ensure proper tooling.
• Identifies and resolves surface defects or missing components.
• Maintains production records and uses pallet jack to move tanks on the line.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives and safety compliance.
