The Retail Store Tailor—Alterations at Tailored Brands in Erie, PA delivers high-quality craftsmanship through alterations, measurements, fittings, and garment repairs. You will perform standard alterations, press garments, and ensure a clean, organized workspace while assisting customers and colleagues.

Strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and time management are essential. You must be able to work at least 20 hours per week and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong sewing and alteration abilities with keen eye for detail.
• Ability to achieve high-quality finishes and accurate measurements.
• Flexible to support front-of-house tasks and customer consultations.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations (pant hems, waist adjustments, etc.) per guidelines.
• Maintain about 60 minutes of productive alteration work per hour.
• Ensure garments have clean finishes, even seams and secure stitching.
• Press garments to a crisp finish.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Tag and organize completed work for customer pickup.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring tailoring supplies.
• Support front-of-house tasks and customer consultations as needed.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with personalized solutions.
• Collaborate with teammates, share tailoring knowledge, and train staff.
