Men's Wearhouse in Rochester, NY is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations to deliver high‑quality craftsmanship, take measurements, perform fittings, and repair garments with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

You will work with a team to complete standard alterations, press garments, manage time efficiently, assist customers, and help with inventory and shop upkeep while upholding company standards.

Formación

• Proficient with sewing machines and tailoring tools.
• Ability to perform standard alterations accurately within time guidelines.
• Strong eye for detail and quality finishes.
• Excellent time management and ability to work 20+ hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Perform alterations such as hems, waist and seat adjustments, tapering, sleeves, seams.
• Maintain productive alteration rate and manage time per hour.
• Ensure high-quality finishes, clean stitches, and proper garment tagging.
• Press garments for a crisp finish.
• Keep workspace organized and safe; maintain tools.
• Demonstrate proficiency with shop equipment.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring supplies.
• Support front-of-house as needed and assist customers.
