Job summary

The Men's Wearhouse, LLC is seeking a part-time Retail Store Tailor for alterations at our Rochester, NY location. You’ll measure, tailor, and repair garments, delivering precise fittings and exceptional service to customers.

Key duties include performing hems, waist and sleeve alterations, garment pressing, inventory support, and helping customers select the best alteration options while maintaining quality standards and a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Tailor with strong sewing and alteration abilities.
• Ability to work 20+ hours per week.
• Maintain quality standards and attention to finish.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations (pant hems, waist, seat, rise, tapering, sleeve adjustments).
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and proper tagging of completed work.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring supplies and requesting replenishment as needed.
• Support front-of-house activities and advise customers on alterations and garment fit.
