Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with designing complex mechanical systems, machines, tooling, or fixturing.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom precision machines, tooling, fixturing, and mechanical subsystems for development.
• Create robust mechanical solutions for first- and next-generation equipment.
• Translate process requirements into equipment designs and performance specs.
• Solve challenges in precision motion, tolerance control, and system integration.
• Work across prototypes, development platforms, and production-capable systems.
• Integrate commercially available technologies into custom solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams and other specialists.
• Use analysis, prototyping, and hands-on problem-solving to reduce risk and improve performance.
• Support installation, debug, and transfer activities with teams and suppliers.
