Qualifications

• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in surveying preferred.
• Proven experience as a surveyor, rod man, or instrument man.
• Proficient in operating total stations, GPS, laser scanners, laser levels, and data collectors.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of surveying principles and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise measurements and survey activities using total stations, GPS, lasers, and related tools.
• Assist in establishing survey control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
• Set up and operate surveying equipment for accurate data collection.
• Perform field surveys to gather topographic and as-built data.
• Compute calculations and analyze data to generate survey reports.
• Prepare construction staking layouts and identify control points and boundaries.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality control checks to validate survey data accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot surveying equipment; coordinate repairs.
• Stay updated on surveying technology and collaborate with the team.
