Primoris Pipeline is seeking Instrument Operators for upcoming projects nationwide. The role requires 1–5 years of survey experience and solid understanding of surveying processes.

You will provide precise measurements and data to support energy sector projects, including pipelines and compressor stations. Responsibilities include operating total stations, GPS, laser scanners and data collectors; establishing control points; performing field surveys; and preparing staking plans while ensuring

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree or certification in surveying preferred.
• 1–5 years of survey experience with instrument operation experience.
• Proficient with total stations, GPS, laser scanners and data collection devices.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise measurements and survey activities using total stations, GPS, laser scanners and related tools.
• Establish survey control points, benchmarks and reference lines for consistent data.
• Set up and operate surveying equipment accurately for data collection.
• Perform field surveys to gather topographic and as-built data and analyze results.
• Prepare construction staking layouts and ensure compliance with specs and safety rules.
• Coordinate with team leads and junior crew members; maintain equipment and safety practices.
