Job summary

FLC-CITCO Tools in Concord Twp., Ohio is seeking a Surface Grinder Operator to join its manufacturing team on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with overtime available. You will set up and operate surface grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts, reading blueprints and instructions to ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, strong shop math, and proficiency in reading schematics and GD&T, with a keen eye for precision and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred (machining/tooling).
• Strong shop math capabilities to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Familiarity with reading Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts.
• Adjust machine settings and grinding wheels to achieve correct size and smooth finish.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure quality parts.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Follow all quality control, workplace safety, and production standards.
