Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a skilled assembler for 2nd shift in Hobart, IN. You will perform sub-assembly and packaging to engineering specs, reading drawings and following supervisor instructions to ensure correct function and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math, including decimal and fractional calculations.

Responsibilities

• Completes sub-assembly and packaging according to procedures and specs.
• Read drawings and follow supervisor instructions for work performed.
• Inspect, test, and verify assemblies meet quality standards.
• Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies.
• Record assembly status using a computer.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
