Job summary

Daifuku North America in Hobart, IN, is seeking a Roller Assembler for the 2nd shift (1:30pm–10:00pm). You will perform assembly and packaging according to drawings, record status, and follow safety rules.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of machine assembly experience; ability to read blueprints and tape measures; basic computer skills; and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Team orientation and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assemble per drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Follow supervisor instructions for work to be performed.
• Self-inspect work to ensure quality and conformance to specs.
• Use computer to record assembly status.
• Follow safety instructions and rules.
• Work overtime or additional shifts as needed.
• Comply with Daifuku QMS policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement to deliver industry-leading performance.
