Job summary

Allied Stone seeks an Omega Machine Operator to operate and oversee Omega stone fabrication machinery for precise cutting, shaping, and finishing of stone products. You will read technical drawings, set up machines, and monitor performance.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment reliability in a production setting. The role requires lifting and moving heavy stone materials, standing for extended periods, and wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; formal machine operation training.
• Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in stone fabrication.
• Technical understanding of Omega stone fabrication machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee Omega stone fabrication machinery for accurate cutting, shaping, and finishing of stone products.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications, guiding machine setup for optimal performance.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings, promptly addressing issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot problems, and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Enforce and maintain rigorous quality control processes throughout production.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
