Job summary

Coining, part of AMETEK Specialty Metal Products, is seeking an operator for stamping presses to fabricate components from strip material per work orders. You will maintain a clean, safe 6S environment and visually inspect parts for defects while following work instructions.

The role requires the ability to set up tools, manage material flow, and collaborate with engineering on efficiency projects. Weekend work may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow departmental rules.
• Comfort with micrometer, digital or mechanical measurement to 0.0001” accuracy.
• Willingness to work weekends when needed.
• Safely operate stamping press and set up tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press to produce components from strip material per work order.
• Maintain clean and safe 6S environment.
• Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with OPEX Engineering on efficiency improvements.
• Assist area manager with 6S initiatives and process improvements.
