Osgood Industries, LLC in Oldsmar, FL is seeking an experienced Polisher to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare, grind, blend, finish, and polish stainless steel components to meet hygienic standards.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year polishing experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to read blueprints and follow procedures. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in metal polishing, grinding, finishing, fabrication, welding, or related manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent finishes on stainless steel surfaces
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, drawings, procedures and safety rules

Responsibilities

• Grind, blend, smooth, and polish stainless steel parts and assemblies using hand-held and powered finishing equipment
• Remove weld discoloration, scratches, tooling marks and surface imperfections
• Blend welds to achieve required finish and appearance
• Inspect finished surfaces for scratches, pits, and uneven finishes
• Use abrasive belts, wheels, discs and polishing compounds
• Maintain grain direction and finish consistency across parts
• Perform final finishing after fabrication and welding operations
• Follow drawings and work instructions to meet customer requirements
