You will troubleshoot issues, replace worn parts, and ensure rebuilt spindles meet tolerances and performance standards with a focus on quality and teamwork. The role requires 3–5 years in complex machine building or repair, blueprint and BOM reading, and proficiency with precision measuring devices.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required with knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Three to five years’ experience in complex machine building or repair; automotive repair is relevant.
• Able to read complex blueprints and BOM; GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with precision measuring devices and ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Disassemble, evaluate, and assemble precision spindles to OEM or Setco specifications.
• Inspect components to prints or Setco specifications.
• Disassemble, test, and install motors and electrical components including wiring and soldering.
• Clean, lubricate and mount precision bearings with proper handling techniques.
• Utilize tools to ensure proper preload and arrangement of bearings in spindle designs.
• Maintain labor hours in MRP/ERP systems to track production hours.
